KLONDYKE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the High Legh Garden Centre team in England. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining attractive plant displays, and ensuring plants are healthy for shoppers.

You will handle till operations, provide plant recommendations, and support store cleanliness, with shifts including weekends and 41 hours per week.

Job description

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our High Legh Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this position are 41 per week over 5 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
