Job summary

Klondyke in Knutsford is hiring a Horticultural Assistant for our High Legh Garden Centre. The role offers full-time permanency with 41 hours weekly, including regular weekend shifts. £10.40–£12.75 per hour, depending on age and experience.

You will help customers, replenish stock, and maintain vibrant plant displays. The ideal candidate has specialist plant knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly, hardworking attitude.

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our High Legh Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this position are 41per week over 5days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Horticultural Assistant, you must havespecialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to createan exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as neededAssisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
