Job summary
Richmond Square Consulting Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Manchester to own, support and secure a large-scale VMware Horizon/VDI environment. You will manage Horizon/Connection Servers, UAG, App Volumes, and DEM, while aligning with security controls in highly regulated UK environments.
The role requires hands-on experience with Horizon, vSphere, and Windows endpoint management, plus strong scripting and automation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience across VMware Horizon / VDI and enterprise endpoint environments.
- Strong understanding of virtualisation and Horizon components.
- Experience with patching, hardening and security controls in regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Own, support, improve and secure a large-scale Horizon/VDI environment.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking and security teams to maintain a secure, resilient environment.
- Manage Windows endpoints, image lifecycle and desktop pools; perform automation where appropriate.
