Job summary

Solutions Through Knowledge seeks an SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer in Nottingham, focused on VMware and Omnissa Horizon. The role emphasizes technical project delivery with potential BAU support.

The engineer will serve as SME for VMware/Omnissa Horizon, supporting design, testing and transitions to BAU, and collaborating with client teams and suppliers. On-call rotation applies with uplift.

Qualifications

• SC Cleared status or active security clearance required.
• Experience with VMware/Omnissa Horizon platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows server environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for VMware/Omnissa Horizon and virtualisation technologies.
• Support technical projects across design, implementation, testing and transition into BAU.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and platform support.
• Support BAU operations and technical fixes when required.
• Collaborate with client teams and third-party suppliers on technical delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to wider teams.
