Islington Council is seeking a Homelessness Services Manager to lead its homelessness teams. This role is pivotal in preventing homelessness and ensuring excellent service delivery. About The Role
The Housing Needs service is seeking a Homelessness Services Manager to lead the Council's homelessness teams following a reorganisation of the service.
The role will manage the following teams:
These teams are essential in delivering the council's goal to prevent and relieve homelessness by providing practical advice and assistance. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventing homelessness early, reducing expenditure on temporary accommodation, and ensuring team performance, well-being, and resilience to meet local and corporate targets, thereby delivering excellent service to residents.
Interviews are likely to be scheduled in the week commencing 16/23 June 2025.
