Job summary

Worcester City Council’s Housing & Homelessness Service is seeking an enthusiastic Homelessness Project Officer to drive projects that prevent homelessness and improve outcomes for people at risk of homelessness in Worcester.

You will lead on service development, data-informed decision making, and partnership work with statutory and voluntary sectors to deliver against strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housing projects or service improvements.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of projects to improve homelessness outcomes.
• Develop and shape prevention pathways and new services.
• Monitor commissioned services and use data for improvement.
• Identify funding opportunities and support delivery of strategic goals.
