Civic Recruitment Limited seeks a dedicated Homelessness Prevention Officer for a 3 Month Contract in Basingstoke. You will manage a caseload, conduct housing needs assessments, and develop personalised housing plans to prevent homelessness in line with statutory requirements.

The role requires trauma-informed approaches, safeguarding knowledge, and collaboration with partners to secure sustainable housing solutions for vulnerable individuals and families.

Formación

• Experience in Homelessness Prevention, Housing Options, or Housing Advice service.
• Knowledge of Housing Act 1996 Part VII and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
• Experience making statutory homelessness decisions.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Experience with vulnerable individuals and families.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and community safety processes.
• Experience in trauma-informed service.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of homelessness prevention and housing options cases.
• Conduct housing needs and support assessments.
• Develop Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs).
• Provide housing advice and support to individuals and families facing homelessness.
• Liaise with accommodation providers, landlords, and support agencies.
• Record and manage cases using the JIGSAW system.
