Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking an Housing Solutions officer to join the Housing Solutions Service. The role focuses on homelessness prevention, providing statutory advice and support to households threatened with homelessness, and exploring alternative housing options.

You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in Civic Offices, Barry, contributing to reducing reliance on emergency accommodation and delivering a high standard of customer service.

Pay Details: £27,709 - £29,542 scale 5-8
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours Mon-Fri
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices

Description: The successful candidate will work within the Council Housing Solutions Service, a very committed, hardworking and resourceful team that provides statutory advice and support to a range of households who find themselves homeless or threatened with homelessness and who may require alternative housing options. The post holder main responsibility will be around homelessness prevention, and assist is reducing the reliance on emergency accommodation.
