We are looking for a Homeless Support Worker to join our team in Mellors Lodge Nottingham to work across our new Young Persons support project. Working within this scheme, you will support the continued, safe provision of accommodation for vulnerable customers in our schemes.
You will work closely with our customers to develop, deliver, and coordinate housing and intensive housing management services to vulnerable people living in temporary dispersed accommodation across the area.
The role involves working with customers, Group employees, outside agencies, and professionals to deliver a holistic service of the highest standard. You will play a key role in signing up new customers and providing advice on welfare/benefit systems. Responsibilities include maintaining the scheme, carrying out risk assessments, health and safety monitoring, and collaborating with the housing management team on repairs, voids, and maintenance.
