We are looking for a Homeless Support Worker to join our team at Mellors Lodge Nottingham to work across our new Young Persons support project. In this role, you will support the continued, safe provision of accommodation for vulnerable customers in our schemes.
You will work closely with our customers to develop, deliver, and coordinate housing and intensive housing management services to vulnerable people living in temporary dispersed accommodation across the area.
The role involves working with customers, Group employees, outside agencies, and professionals to deliver a holistic service of the highest standard. You will play a key role in signing up new customers to the service and providing advice and guidance on welfare/benefit systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining the scheme, including conducting risk assessments and health and safety monitoring, as well as collaborating with the housing management team regarding repairs, voids, and maintenance.
Please note that you will work 18.12 hours per week over a 7-day period. This post is subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, and all employment offers are contingent upon receiving two satisfactory references.
