Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Homecare and Reablement Service is recruiting care staff for permanent posts in the Western Isles. Successful applicants will support people to live at home, with SVQ II training provided and progression opportunities within the team.

A full UK driving licence is essential and relocation packages may be available. The role includes working 16–37 hours per week, with salaries from £30,757 to £31,934 per year (pro rata for part-time staff).

Qualifications

• SVQ II in Health and Social Care or equivalent required to enable registration with SSSC.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Membership of PVG scheme is required.

Responsabilités

• Support people living in their communities to continue living at home with person-centred planning, compassion, dignity and respect.
• Deliver high standard of care and support at all times.
• Work as part of a skilled team to provide reliable care in line with service objectives.
