Comhairle nan Eilean Siar invites applications for the Homecare & Reablement Assistant, Lochs. This 21-hour-per-week, permanent post offers a salary of £17,457 to £18,125 per year, inclusive of £1,701 Distant Islands Allowance.

The service supports people to live at home through person-centred care in local communities. The successful candidate will hold SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) to enable registration with SSSC, and PVG clearance will be required.

Qualifications

• SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent to enable registration with SSSC.

Responsibilities

• Support people living in their homes to continue living independently.
• Deliver person-centred care, compassion and dignity in all interactions.
• Work as part of the Home Care and Reablement team to maintain high care standards.
