Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver eye care to customers at their homes across Cumbria. You will have optical experience, be able to dispense at all levels, and hold a full UK driving licence with a company car or car allowance.

This full-time role is based in Cumbria, with a Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm schedule and a comprehensive benefits package including a £26,852 salary plus up to £2,500 welcome bonus, bonus scheme, and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience (minimum 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver.
• You must be based in Cumbria.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye care at patients' homes across Cumbria.
• Drive to doorstep visits and set up required equipment.
• Be confident using new systems, tablet and/or laptop.

Home Visits Optical Assistant - up to £2500 Welcome Bonus! (Ts & Cs apply) Are you ready to take your skills on the road? As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that. You'll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren't able to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you'll also be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community. We can only consider candidates who have current or recent optical experience and who can confidently dispense at all levels. You will also need to hold a full UK driving licence for this role. Due to the needs of our business, we will only shortlist suitable candidates who live in Cumbria.

Our business You will be providing essential eye care to people in their own homes across Cumbria. Our team We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who are ready and waiting for you to meet them.

Our cars You'll be provided with a company car or car allowance.
