Specsavers is seeking a home visits optical assistant to bring eye care directly to patients at their homes across Barry, Swansea, Bridgend and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver aftercare and support basic tasks that patients can’t perform at home, helping people maintain their sight and independence.
A company car is provided and you will work 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach. Previous optical experience and a full UK driving licence are required.

You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing aftercare to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.
The office team are based in the lovely offices in Barry, but you’ll cover Swansea, Bridgend, Barry and on occassion Cardiff, depending on your location. You will be providing care to vulnerable patients.
We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who ready and waiting for you to meet.
You’ll be provided with a company car which is fully expensed that you will use to bring your care and services directly to people’s homes.
