Specsavers is seeking a Domiciliary Optical Assistant to visit patients at home from our Bolton office, covering Manchester North and Lancashire areas. You will deliver eye care directly to people who cannot visit stores, helping with basic tasks and supporting their wellbeing.
Applicants should have optical experience and a full UK driving license, with a friendly, customer-focused approach and comfort using tablets or laptops in the field.

You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.
Based from the office in Bolton, you will cover mainly Manchester North and BL and Lancashire area but will be required to cover further afield on occassion, providing care to vulnerable patients.
We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who ready and waiting for you to meet.
You’ll be provided with a a car allowance of £3,000 per annum that will allow you to use your own car to bring your care and services directly to people’s homes.
