Job summary

Parkfield House Care Home in Uxbridge is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead day-to-day operations and sustain high-quality, person‑centred care. The successful candidate will drive governance, oversee staffing, and manage budgets during a planned refurbishment, ensuring residents receive safe and compassionate support.

The role requires at least three years of management experience in a residential or nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Three years’ management experience in a residential or nursing setting.
• Experience delivering quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Registered Nurse qualification desirable (RGN preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Parkfield House Care Home and ensure safe, person‑centred care.
• Strengthen governance, quality assurance and accountability with senior leadership.
• Coach Deputy Manager and heads of department to build leadership capability.
• Improve recruitment, retention and workforce planning to reduce agency usage.
• Grow occupancy and strengthen the home’s local reputation with families and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and support planned refurbishment while maintaining continuity of care.
