Care Concern Group is seeking an experienced Home Manager for Parkfield House in Uxbridge. The 39-bed home provides residential, dementia, nursing and respite care and aims to sustain a Good CQC rating.
The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, drive person‑centred care, and work with senior teams to deliver lasting improvements. You will require at least three years of management experience in a similar setting; RN qualification is desirable.
Up to £70,000 per annum + Annual Bonus + Private Medical Insurance
Parkfield House needs an experienced Home Manager who can build on its Good CQC rating, develop the team and strengthen the home’s performance. This is an opportunity for a visible, hands‑on leader who combines sound clinical oversight with commercial judgement and a commitment to person‑centred care.
Our characterful, homely 39‑bed service provides residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. With refurbishment planned and organisational investment in staffing, training and resources, you will help shape the home’s next stage while protecting the quality of residents’ daily experience.
Your priorities will include sustaining care standards, reducing reliance on agency staff and growing occupancy through strong relationships with families and the local community.
Occupancy: 82% (39‑bed capacity) | Agency usage: approximately 170 hours per week | CQC: Good.
You will lead the day‑to‑day operation of Parkfield House, making sure residents receive safe, person‑centred care and colleagues understand the standards expected of them. Working with senior leadership and quality teams, you will strengthen accountability, develop your team and deliver improvement that lasts.
You will be an experienced Home Manager with at least three years’ management experience and a proven record of delivering quality care and regulatory compliance. Experience managing a residential or nursing service, developing teams and leading quality improvement is highly desirable.
A Registered Nurse qualification, preferably RGN, would be desirable. You will bring the knowledge and judgement to oversee nursing care, alongside strong commercial awareness across occupancy, budgets and staffing.
We are looking for an approachable, resilient leader who is present in the home and follows through on commitments. You set clear expectations, support colleagues to improve and build confidence with residents and families.
Parkfield House offers the opportunity to lead a smaller, established home where you can get to know residents, families and colleagues closely. Its Good CQC rating provides a foundation to build on, while the planned refurbishment creates scope to improve the environment and strengthen its appeal locally.
With occupancy at 82% and agency reduction a clear priority, your leadership can make a practical difference to both team stability and the home’s performance.
You will have support from senior leadership and quality teams, with autonomy to lead and opportunities to develop your career within the group.
