Job summary

Our client is a well-established, family-run care provider in the health and social care sector, operating a portfolio of homes across the UK. This Home Manager role focuses on maintaining exceptional CQC ratings, leading a compassionate, capable team and driving continuous improvement in resident care.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leadership to implement digital care systems and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Home Manager with proven success in achieving and maintaining CQC compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Longevity and stability in previous management roles.
• Experience in the UK care home sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant operations.
• Maintain CQC compliance and deliver ongoing improvement and environmental action plans.
• Provide clinical oversight to ensure residents receive high standards of nursing and personal care.
• Oversee safe medication administration, storage, and recording in line with NMC and CQC standards.
• Build and develop a strong staff team, reducing agency use and improving retention.
• Promote high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.
• Support and guide digital implementation (electronic care planning and medicine management).
• Drive a positive and professional culture within the home.
