Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking an experienced Home Manager for Yarnley House Care Home in Ringwood, Hampshire. You will lead governance, ensure care quality, and drive commercially sustainable growth while building a stable, skilled team.

The role requires steering the home through inspection readiness, staff capacity planning, and occupancy growth, with a focus on trust, consistency and lasting leadership stability.

Qualifications

• Five years+ experience managing nursing homes (nursing and dementia)
• Proven track record of regulatory outcomes and quality improvement
• Experience in commissioning or developing a growing home (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Lead Yarnley House through development with focus on care quality and inspection readiness
• Embed quality framework and ensure safe, reliable ways of working
• Strengthen governance and prepare for CQC inspection
• Coach Deputy Manager and team with clear expectations
• Plan recruitment and staffing to match occupancy growth
• Improve rostering and manage budgets, reducing agency use
• Build relationships with families, commissioners and community partners
