Job summary

Greensleeves Care seeks a professional Home Manager to lead a busy elderly care home in England. You will run the home with compassion, ensure quality care, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering a warm, safe environment.

You will manage staff, oversee budgets, complete required records, and liaise with CQC inspectors. The role requires Level 5 Health and Social Care and prior registered management experience.

Qualifications

• Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience as a Registered Manager in a care/nursing home.
• Experience with budgets and business plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop a warm, caring environment supporting independence and privacy.
• Maintain all legal/ statutory records and liaise with CQC inspections.
• Ensure regulatory records under Health and Social Care Act are current.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, inductions and training for the team.
• Conduct regular supervisions, assessments and team meetings.
