Templeton House Care Home in Ayrshire, Scotland, seeks an experienced Home Manager to lead the home with visible, hands-on leadership, ensuring outstanding care and a positive culture.
You will work with the Regional Director to drive quality, people development, and sustainable growth, focusing on occupancy, resident and family experience, and regulatory performance; nursing qualification is desirable but not essential.
Some Home Manager opportunities are about maintaining success.
Others are about creating it.
Templeton House Care Home offers a rare opportunity to lead a well-established service with strong foundations, a loyal team and a respected local reputation, whilst shaping the next chapter of its journey.
Located in Ayrshire, Templeton House is a 69-bed care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care across three dedicated communities. For many years, the home has been a trusted choice for families seeking high-quality care delivered with compassion, dignity and professionalism.
Today, the home continues to benefit from an experienced core team, strong relationships within the local community and an excellent 9.9 Carehome.co.uk review score. Occupancy remains healthy, and agency usage is relatively low compared to many services across the sector in this region.
At the same time, we recognise there is more to achieve.
Templeton House currently holds Care Inspectorate grades of 3,4,4,5,5, and while there are many strengths to build upon, we are looking for a leader who can drive greater consistency, strengthen clinical oversight, develop the team and continue improving the quality of care and resident experience.
This is not a turnaround project. Nor is it a home that has reached its ceiling. It is a service with significant potential and a genuine opportunity for the right Home Manager to leave a legacy.
As Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership, performance and culture of the home.
You will provide visible, hands-on leadership, creating an environment where residents receive outstanding care, colleagues feel valued and supported, and families have complete confidence in the service.
Working closely with your Regional Director and wider support functions, you will lead the home through its next phase of development, focusing on quality, people, reputation and sustainable growth.
We're seeking an experienced and resilient leader who understands how to build confidence, create stability and inspire teams to achieve their best.
Most importantly, you will be a visible leader who leads with integrity, compassion and accountability.
You’ll recognise and value the experience of long-serving colleagues while bringing fresh energy, clear expectations and a commitment to continuous improvement.
This is an opportunity to join a home with genuine strengths already in place
Care Concern Group is one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing care providers, with more than 140 services nationwide and over half located in Scotland.
