Job summary

B&Q Kettering is hiring a Customer Advisor on a permanent part-time basis (16 hours per week). Shifts run seven days a week from 7:00am to 8:00pm. You’ll be an expert advisor, helping customers with home improvement projects and learning skills like paint-mixing and timber cutting.

You’ll work in a team, provide excellent service, and expand your skills using new technology, with a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays. Benefits include pension, ShareSave, generous leave and discounts.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, you’ll be happy to help customers.
• Able to work in a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions and guidance.
• Support stock management and display set-ups to keep store looking great.
• Contribute to sales through friendly customer interactions and upselling where appropriate.
