Job summary

B&Q Elgin is hiring a Customer Advisor on a Part Time - 12 hours per week, 3 Month Fixed Term Contract. Shifts cover Monday to Sunday, 7.00am - 10.00pm, with an hourly rate of £13.10.

You’ll be an expert advisor who helps customers with home improvement projects, stocks, displays and general store presentation. Training in paint-mixing and timber-cutting may be provided while delivering great customer service.

Qualifications

• Friendly, helpful attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Willing to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Able to work well in a team and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Sales will be important, and you’ll also help with stock, displays and ensuring the store looks great.
• Opportunity to learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting; great customer service is the main aim.
