Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time days to support patients at home. You will provide movement and functional interventions, conduct regular reexaminations, and plan discharges while maintaining high clinical standards.

Requirements include an active state license, CAPTE-accredited education, CPR certification, and at least one year of home health PT experience or regional mentorship if less. Benefits and flexible pay structures available.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you’re assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an CAPTE-accredited physical therapy education program.
• One year related physical therapy experience for home health care or approval from regional clinical leaders if less.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provides interventions, conducts reexaminations every 30 days, modifies interventions as necessary, and performs discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
