Job summary

Professional Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to support clinicians and ensure smooth clinic operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on patient comfort and care during therapy sessions.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach. Prior healthcare exposure is beneficial, and HIPAA/OSHA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Physical stamina to remain active and assist patients as needed.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing treatment areas and ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
  • Assisting patients with setup and positioning during therapy sessions.
  • Monitoring equipment and making adjustments as directed by clinical staff.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment.
  • Preparing hot and cold therapy modalities.
  • Supporting general clinic operations, including laundry and light cleaning tasks.

Physical Therapy Aide (Part-Time)

We’re currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support our clinical team and help create an exceptional patient experience. What You’ll Do

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you’ll play a key role in keeping our clinic running smoothly while supporting both patients and clinicians. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing treatment areas and ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use
  • Assisting patients with setup and positioning during therapy sessions
  • Monitoring equipment and making adjustments as directed by clinical staff

  • Supporting general clinic operations, including laundry and light cleaning tasks

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $16 per hour
  • Part-time employees are eligible to accrue sick time in accordance with Massachusetts Paid Sick Leave Law
