Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers’ homes across the region. The role involves more than driving—delivering great service with a smile, handling orders with care and working with a supportive team back at base.

You will be on a hands-on, physical schedule with shifts that include mornings and evenings, a minimum guaranteed weekly hours, and a focus on maintaining high quality at every doorstep.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and loading a van.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within their scheduled time slots.
• Load the van safely and perform vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Keep van, trays and workspace clean, tidy and organised.
• Communicate clearly with customers about substitutions or changes.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues to support team service.
