Job summary

Tesco Customer Delivery Driver role is the frontline face of Tesco on the road, delivering groceries to customers’ homes with a smile and a focus on great service. You’ll be on the road, handling loading, checks, and doorstep delivery as part of a supportive team back at base.

Shifts vary, with a minimum of 16 hours per week and options from 12 hours. A valid UK driving licence with up to 3 points is required. The role offers flexible working and inclusive, Disability Confident commitments.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence with at least 12 months' experience.
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence.
• Good customer service and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the customer time slots at the doorstep and provide warm, natural service.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure it is roadworthy and ready to deliver.
• Keep van, trays and work area clean, neat and organised to protect product quality and customer trust.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and arrange refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to create a great team spirit and deliver excellent service.
