Job summary

Springfield Healthcare in Harrogate is looking for Home Care Workers to join our teams across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Ripon. Whether you’re new to the sector or have experience, we have a place for you.

Our role involves visiting clients at home to provide light domestic tasks, social activities, meals, personal care and medication administration. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential to enable you to reach clients reliably.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Experience in health and social care preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent induction and onboarding programme provided.

Responsibilities

• Support people at home with light domestic tasks, social activities, meals, personal care and medication administration.
• Attend scheduled house calls across assigned areas.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of clients during visits.

About the role:

Our amazing care teams support people at home andin the local community by attending scheduled house calls. Every day isdifferent, depending on the need of the client, you could be supporting withlight domestic cleaning, social activities, preparing meals, personal care andadministering medication.

Skills and qualifications:

Experience and a qualification in health andsocial care is preferred but not necessary. We have an excellent induction andonboarding programme that will give you all the training needed to completeyour role, and your community mentor will be with you every step of the way

• Competitive salary of £14 per hour weekday /£14.50 per hour weekend
