Job summary

Montpellier Care Company are looking for care and support workers who are enthusiastic about helping individuals with complex needs in the Harrogate and district area.

We provide long calls (2–5 hrs), home visits, respite care, 24‑hour support and night calls, with paid travel time and mileage. Training is provided and paid, with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with complex needs.
• Work in Harrogate and district area with longer calls (2–5 hrs).
• Shadow experienced colleagues before working independently.
• Help clients with daily living tasks and personal care where needed.

Salary: £13.66- £15.86 per hour (Paid Travel Time and Mileage)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours/ Working Pattern: Part Time (16 to 20 hours per week)

They workpredominantly with individuals with complex needs, including mental healthneeds, learning disability, autism and physical needs. They tend to providelonger calls (between 2-5 hrs sessions) which allows workers and service usersto really get to know each other. They also provide respite care in people'shome, 24 hour support, and night calls.

No previous experience is required; however, experiencesupporting individuals with autism or mental health needs, or a willingness tolearn, would be beneficial. Strong communication skills are essential for thisrole.
