Job summary

Premiere Care in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, invites caring individuals to join the team as hourly carers. The role offers permanent employment with full-time hours, paying £15.00 per hour, rising to £16.00 per hour for overtime. Full training is provided and a UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with personal care including bathing, dressing and assisting with eating.
  • Assist with shopping, cooking and preparing meals.
  • Support clients with taking medication.
  • Occasional household duties such as bed making, laundry, ironing and light cleaning.
  • Promote client independence and activity appropriate to their abilities.
  • Write accurate care notes on Birdie via your smartphone.
  • Follow safe working practices.

Premiere Care are looking for dedicated hourly carers living in and around the Leyburn area to join their team.

Job Description
  • Provide clients with personal care that may include: bathing and showering, oral care, toileting, dressing and assisting with eating
  • Support clients with essential things like shopping, cooking and preparing meals
  • Support clients with taking medication
  • Occasional household duties that may include: bed making, laundry, ironing and some light cleaning
  • Promote client independence and activity appropriate to their abilities
  • Work as part of a care team
  • Communicate effectively with the care coordinator team and clients
  • Write accurate care notes on our online system called Birdie via your smartphone
  • Follow safe working practices

Previous care experience is useful, but not essential as full training and support is provided.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
