Job summary

Able Carers, based in North Yorkshire, is seeking caring individuals for permanent positions in Selby. You will support clients with daily tasks, including personal care, meal prep, medication assistance, and companionship. A car is required for travel between clients; training occurs in York.

Shift patterns include early and late spans with every other weekend freedom. No prior care experience is required, and we provide full induction training and ongoing support.

Salary: £12.71 per hour to £14.00 per hour

Contract: Permanent

What You’ll Do

You’ll support clients with a range of daily tasks, such as:

• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Administering medication
• Shopping and errands
• Social visits and companionship

Shift Patterns

• 7am–2pm and 3pm–10pm
• Optional 12‑hour long days
• Every other weekend

What We’re Looking For

• No previous care experience required
• A caring, reliable and positive attitude
• A car (or bike) is essential for travel between clients in Selby
• A car is required for training, which takes place in York
