Job summary

Care Assistants wanted by Care Santé Limited in Mexborough. You will join a new Care Team to provide life-changing home care to vulnerable adults in their own homes. Roles are available in Mexborough, Conisbrough, Denaby and Swinton, with shifts including mornings and evenings and some weekend work.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided, with paid induction. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Help service users overcome mobility problems and use of aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
• Perform domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
• Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements.
• Assist with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, and aiding feeding if required.
• Support with preparing and administering medication as directed.
• Contribute to a person’s end-of-life care as needed.

We have an excellent opportunity for Care Assistants to join our new Care Team to be based in;

• Mexborough
• Conisbrough
• Denaby
• Swinton

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of;

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 3pm-10pm
• Alternative weekends
• (must have flexibility to work a minimum of at least x2 evening shifts per week)
