Job summary

The Care Collection is seeking Home Care Assistants to support children and adults in their own homes and in the community across Huddersfield. This permanent role offers full- or part-time hours with shifts from 7am–2pm and 4pm–10pm.

Drivers with access to their own vehicle and business insurance are required for travel between visits. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities to gain diploma qualifications and join a friendly team.

Home Care Assistant

Location: Huddersfield

Salary : from £13.30-£16.25 per hour

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full- or Part-Time hours available

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to support children and adults in their own homes and in the community across the Huddersfield area.

Shift patterns available from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm.

Applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle and business insurance, as travel between visits is required.

What we offer:

• Pay from £13.30 - £16.25 per hour for carers aged 21 and over (bank holidays £16.25 per hour)
• Paid mileage between visits (30p per mile)
• Alternate weekends off and rotas given 4 weeks in advance

About the role

You'll support people in their own homes, helping them live independently with dignity and respect. This may include medication support, personal care, meal preparation, light household tasks, and companionship. We do require all our carers to work alternate weekends.
