Job summary

The Care Collection is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Huddersfield who will support clients at home, helping them live independently with dignity and respect. You will travel between visits and must have a driving licence with business insurance; weekend shifts are required.

Salary is paid hourly with pay scale from £13.30 to £16.25 per hour, plus mileage and a range of benefits including paid holiday, pension and ongoing training to support diploma qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle with business insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic attitude.
• Reliable, flexible and able to cover alternate weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Support people in their own homes to live independently with dignity and respect.
• Assist with personal care, medication support and meal preparation as needed.
• Carry out light household tasks and provide companionship.
• Travel between visits; alternate weekends shifts are required.

Home Care Assistant

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: from £13.30-£16.25 per hour

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full- or Part-Time hours available

Shift patterns available from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm.

Applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle and business insurance, as travel between visits is required.

About the role

You’ll support people in their own homes, helping them live independently with dignity and respect. This may include medication support, personal care, meal preparation, light household tasks, and companionship. We do require all our carers to work alternate weekends.
