Job summary

Horizons Homecare Ltd. in Blackpool is seeking a dedicated Homecare Assistant to provide person-centred care in clients’ own homes. This full-time role offers local rounds, paid mileage and a supportive office team.

You will assist with personal care, daily tasks and companionship, following care plans and recording notes after visits. A driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are required; enhanced DBS check will be arranged. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and reliable nature.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and DBS check will be arranged.
• Good spoken and written English to follow care plans and keep records.
• Flexibility to cover mornings, evenings and alternate weekends on rota.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in their own homes with personal care and daily tasks.
• Help with medication, meals and mobility while keeping the home safe.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Record clear, accurate notes after every visit and follow care plans.
• Spot changes in health or wellbeing and report them to the office team.
