Job summary

Harmony Healthcare in Hampshire is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients with mental health and learning disabilities in their own homes. This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can see the positive impact of your care daily.

We offer day and night shifts, full specialist training, and enhanced bank holiday rates. You will work with the clinical and care teams to deliver person-centred support, promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train).
• Strong communication and reliability.
• Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred values.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home.
• Supporting with community access and social activities.
• Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks.
• Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support.
• Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams.
