Job summary

Harmony Healthcare is seeking Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers for 1:1 care across Andover. This role offers whichever shifts—days, evenings, weekends—and focuses on compassionate support in the client’s home and community.

You will work with adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs, following care plans and reporting to the clinical team. Full specialist training is provided; DBS and onboarding are part of compliance.

£16.00 hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Weekday/Weekend/Days/Nights shifts available

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs across services in the Andover area.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client

Our client is a young adult who enjoys writing, and going for walks . They benefit from structured routines, reassurance and support both at home and in the community. A carer who is calm, patient and confident working independently will thrive in this role.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

• Autism
• Depression
• PTSD
• Anxiety
• Eating Disorders
• Epilepsy management
• Moving and handling
• Personal care
• Medication support

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.
Include specific shift pattern here:

• Weekend day shifts
• Weekend night shifts
• 12-hour shifts or shorter calls
• Driver requirement if applicable
• Regular pattern (e.g., every Saturday and Sunday)

Compliance Requirements

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3-compliant onboarding.

• £150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
• £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer
• Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
