Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Home Birth Midwife to join Artemis Home Birth, a continuity team dedicated to supporting women planning home births across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.

You will be a B6 midwife with significant experience, NIPE trained and ideally NLS certified, able to provide autonomous care and drive to home visits. The role includes on-call duties and promoting UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiatives.

Qualifications

• NIPE training and NLS certification preferred (we can support you to gain if needed)
• Ability to work autonomously and provide continuous care
• Must be able to travel to home visits using own vehicle
• Strong compassion and clinical excellence in home birth settings

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical activities required of a midwife across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care plans
• Provide accurate assessments during antenatal and labour care, including home birth support
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call service and home visits using own car
