Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Hampshire seeks experienced band 6 midwives to join our community maternity teams. You will provide total midwifery care for both high and low risk mothers, with a home base at The Hub and occasional cross-site work across our sites.

The role involves a mix of weekdays and weekends, continuity of antenatal and postnatal care, and on-call duties (minimum 6 per year). A full UK driving licence and NMC PIN are essential. Flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Registered midwife with the NMC in the UK.
• Active NMC PIN enabling autonomous practice.
• Eligible to work across Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality women-centred midwifery care in hub and community settings.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate maternity care.
• Maintain continuity of care across antenatal and postnatal periods.
• Be accountable for own actions and promote multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Be available for on-call duties (minimum 6 per year) and cross-site working as required.
