Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting for Support Practitioners at a brand new service in Galston. You will help people live independently at home, with training provided including a fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

No prior care experience is required as we hire on values and transferable skills, and we welcome non-drivers. The role offers 36 hours weekly, mainly as 12-hour day/night shifts, with PT options at 24 hours.

Qualifications

• No previous experience in care required; we recruit on values and transferable skills.
• Fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Full-time 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts; part-time options at 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently in their own homes.
• Assist with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Provide social support and accompany individuals to hobbies/events and participate in hobbies at home.
