Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Carluke and Lanark is seeking compassionate and creative Support Practitioners to help adults living in their own homes. No previous care experience is required as we recruit on values, and we provide full training including a funded SVQ.

This female-only role requires a full UK manual licence and access to your own car, and is a 25-hour-per-week position with excellent training and rewards.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature with good observation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and basic IT.
• Ability to work well in team and alone with good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals living in their own homes with daily tasks.
• Assist with medication, finances, housework, meals and personal care.
• Engage in activities and interests with service users.
• Follow care plans and maintain respectful boundaries.
