Job summary

Co-op Life Services is hiring a Sales Consultant to help clients plan for the future within the Estate Planning team. You will engage with clients via video, phone, and occasional in-person sessions, explaining options and guiding decisions with empathy and clarity.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, a UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and the ability to hit targets while delivering a supportive, compliant client journey across England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in B2B or B2C consultative sales
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Confidence, empathy and understanding when speaking with potential clients
• Active listening skills with ability to adapt communication style across channels
• Ability to consult and influence while showing enthusiasm for products and services
• Excellent literacy and numeracy with attention to detail
• Ability to achieve key targets and work towards deadlines
• Good general IT skills and adaptability to new systems

Responsibilities

• Attend video or phone-based appointments to discuss the benefits of later life legal services with clients
• Identify client needs and provide information and solutions to meet requirements
• Explain legal issues in plain language, without jargon
• Guide clients through options, including funeral plans, in line with FCA regulations
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues to ensure a smooth client journey
• Meet targets to deliver strong client outcomes and commercial success
• Travel for face-to-face meetings when required
