Job summary

Carr Gomm in Scotland is seeking passionate individuals to join our Home-Based Respite team. This part-time, relief role offers flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends) to support carers and the people they care for at home, with training and SVQ in Health and Social Care provided on the job.

You will need a valid UK driving licence to travel to rural communities, build trusting relationships with service users and families, and contribute to person-centred care across our locality.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable and motivated to help others.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to rural areas.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.
• Training provided on the job with SVQ in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based respite support to carers and people receiving care.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with people and their families.
• Travel to client homes in rural areas to deliver person-centred support.
