Job summary

Carr Gomm is launching a new Home-Based Respite service across Inverness-shire. As a Support Practitioner you will care for children with disabilities, build trusting relationships with families, and travel to support people in rural areas.

Full training is provided and you will work flexible hours, with opportunities to pursue SVQ in Health and Social Care. The role includes full-time, part-time or relief contracts and pays £26,886–£28,353 p.a. (pro rata) based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required to travel to rural areas.
• Full training provided and SVQ in Health and Social Care offered.

Responsibilities

• Care for children with disabilities in home-based settings.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with people and their families.
• Support with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and school holidays.
