Job summary

Carr Gomm is a leading social care charity delivering person-centred support in the community across the UK. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide home-based respite and care, supporting carers and the people they care for.

You will receive full training and ongoing support to achieve an SVQ in Health and Social Care while you work. A driving licence is required to travel to clients in rural areas, and shifting patterns include days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based respite and personal care to people in their own homes.
• Support carers by giving them a break while ensuring the person receives person-centred support.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with people and their families.
• Be flexible with shift patterns to meet carers’ needs across the UK.
