Job summary

MLA Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing independent residential surveying practice to recruit a Residential Surveyor. The role is home-based with a flexible patch across the Reading, Guildford, North London, Bristol, NW London, Birmingham and Watford areas, focusing on Level 2 and Level 3 private surveys and high-quality reporting.

You will use Go Report with a bespoke template, enjoy a phased diary in the first 3–6 months, and benefit from a realistic workload and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out residential property surveys.
• Strong reporting and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality reports.
• VRS registration is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys for private clients.
• Produce clear, professional reports to help clients make informed decisions.
• Use Go Report with a bespoke reporting template to streamline administration.
