Job summary

HFH Healthcare is seeking an experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support a three-year-old child in their family home in Southgate, North London. You will provide dedicated, one-to-one care following an individual care plan, working closely with parents and the clinical team.

The role requires previous complex care experience, a gentle and patient approach, and strong communication. Full-time or part-time options available with a minimum of 24 hours per week, in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Previous complex healthcare experience.
• Gentle, patient and nurturing personality.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Reliability, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn the child's clinical needs and routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one age-appropriate personal care and daily support.
• Assist with positioning, postural management, and catheterisation per care plan.
• Administer medications following training and competency assessment.
• Support safe feeding and monitor choking risks.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with parents and clinical team.
• Respect family home, preferences and boundaries.
