Job summary

Calbarrie Compliance Services Ltd is seeking PAT Test Engineers to join our team, working from a home base in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. You will inspect and test portable appliances on commercial sites, with overtime opportunities and a focus on larger sites where possible.

You will use our bespoke testing software, with a clear statement of work and regular feedback into updates. We offer a structured pay scheme and opportunities to grow earnings as the business expands.

Qualifications

• recognised electrical qualification or PAT testing qualification
• proven experience testing through and through
• ability to work safely in accordance with policies and legislation
• commitment to keeping up to date with current legislation and training

Responsibilities

• Carry out portable appliance testing across a range of commercial sites
• Complete minor remedial works where required
• Produce accurate test reports for quality checking by Technical Manager
• Work closely with Technical Manager and Operations team
• Use bespoke testing software designed for speed and efficiency
• Work across facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites
• Help identify ways to improve testing software and processes
