Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to own a South West England & Wales territory for medical equipment. You will manage existing accounts, win new business, and navigate NHS procurement, with autonomy to build a strong pipeline and engage multiple hospital departments.

The role offers home-based work with regular travel across the territory and occasional France meetings. A proactive, relationship-driven salesperson will excel in this expanding market.

Qualifications

• Experience selling medical devices or capital equipment into hospitals.
• Proactive, confident salesperson with long-term relationship focus.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and to France for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across the territory and meet annual targets.
• Identify customers and opportunities within NHS and private sector.
• Grow existing accounts while building a strong pipeline of new business.
• Deliver product demonstrations to procurement and clinical teams.
• Navigate complex NHS procurement processes and contracts.
