Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own a Midlands and North Wales medical equipment territory. You will open doors, build relationships and develop new business across NHS and private hospitals, taking a proactive approach to create your own pipeline.

You will manage opportunities, deliver product demonstrations and negotiate contracts through NHS procurement channels, reporting to the UK Managing Director and shaping the region from ground up.

Qualifications

• Track record of developing new business and creating your own pipeline.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
• Experience of consultative sales involving multiple stakeholders and varied sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across the territory, targeting an initial annual sales target of approximately £150,000.
• Identify new customers, projects and opportunities across NHS and private healthcare.
• Develop the existing customer base alongside building a strong new-business pipeline.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations; build relationships with Procurement, EBME, Manual Handling, Estates and Facilities, nursing teams and clinical departments.
• Manage opportunities and negotiate contracts through NHS procurement processes with varied sales cycles.
